Tracking an Amazon price is easy; knowing whether it's actually a good deal — and whether it's cheaper somewhere else — is the hard part. Here's how to do both.
See the price history
To view how an Amazon price has moved over time, use a price-history tool like Keepa or CamelCamelCamel, which draw a chart right on the product page. This tells you whether today's price is high, low, or average.
Get a price-drop alert
Set a desired price and get emailed when Amazon hits it. Keepa and CamelCamelCamel both do this. For smarter alerts, Dipper's Smart Track only pings you when a drop is a genuine deal (not a fake “sale”), and reaches you by email, push, or Telegram.
Don't stop at Amazon
The same product is often cheaper elsewhere. Because Dipper works on almost any store, you can track it on Amazon and on Walmart, Target, Best Buy, or a brand's own site — and Dipper's find-cheaper search will look for a lower price for you. See Dipper vs Keepa for the full picture.
Try it: create a free Dipper account, paste any product link, and get alerted the moment the price drops — or add the 1-click browser extension.
