How Dipper works

Dipper is an AI price tracker that works on almost any store — not just Amazon. The trick is simple: instead of scraping a retailer's servers, Dipper reads the price from the page you're already viewing.

Why most trackers only work on Amazon

Traditional price trackers send a server to fetch a product page and read the price. Amazon mostly tolerates this; many other stores don't — they block automated requests from datacenter servers. So those trackers silently fail everywhere except Amazon.

Dipper reads the price you actually see

Your browser is a real browser that every store trusts. When you open a product page, the Dipper extension reads the title, price, and stock status straight off the rendered page — no server scraping, nothing for a bot-blocker to catch. That's why Dipper works on Walmart, Target, eBay, Etsy, Zara, Nike, Shopify shops, and stores that block ordinary price bots.

Three steps

1

Open any product page

An earbud, a coat, a fridge — anywhere online.

2

Click the Dipper icon

Dipper reads the product, price, and image for you. No copy-paste.

3

Choose your alert

Any drop, a %, a target price, or back-in-stock.

The AI part

Smart Track compares the live price to its real history and tells you when a drop is a genuine deal — not a fake “sale.” Find cheaper searches the web for the same or a similar product at a lower price. Alerts reach you by email, browser push, or Telegram.
